We're seeking a motivated and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant to join a specialist school in South London, supporting pupils aged 5-19 with social, emotional, and mental health (SEMH) needs. All students have an Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP), and the school provides a nurturing, supportive environment where every child is encouraged to thrive. Who We're Looking For We welcome applications from: Experienced SEN Teaching Assistants Individuals with proven experience supporting children with SEN or SEMH needs People confident in behaviour management and delivering tailored support strategies Key Responsibilities Support pupils with SEMH needs in the classroom and during wider school activities Assist teachers in delivering personalised lessons and interventions Help create a safe, structured, and engaging learning environment Encourage confidence, independence, and positive development in every learner Work collaboratively with teachers, therapists, and families to support holistic progress Requirements Previous SEN experience (within a school or similar setting) A DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply through us) Two employment references covering the last 24 months What We Offer A dedicated consultant to guide and support you throughout your placement Ongoing training and professional development opportunities A rewarding Refer-a-Friend schemeThis role offers more than day-to-day responsibilities - it's an opportunity to positively shape young lives and be part of something truly meaningful.
