We have a range of opportunities available across mainstream primary schools and specialist SEND settings, including day-to-day supply, short-term and long-term placements. The Role As a Learning Support Assistant you will: • Support teachers in delivering engaging and inclusive lessons. • Work with individuals and small groups of pupils to support learning and development. • Provide additional support for children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND). • Encourage positive behaviour and help create a safe, nurturing classroom environment. • Build positive relationships with pupils, staff and wider school teams. • Support pupils with their confidence, independence and personal development. • Adapt confidently to different schools, year groups and classroom environments. What We're Looking For We're looking for individuals who are: • Experienced working with children or young people (school experience is desirable). • Passionate about helping children learn and develop. • Patient, positive and enthusiastic with a caring approach. • Confident communicators who enjoy working as part of a team. • Flexible and able to adapt to different school settings. • Available to work between 8:30am and 3:30pm on their chosen working days. • In possession of an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willing to apply for one.
