Hall Green School is a very popular, heavily oversubscribed and academically successful 11-16 Converter Academy. We are a highly diverse institution, both ethnically and as a fully accessible mainstream school, attracting pupils from across the city with physical disabilities. We have wonderful pupils who fully contribute to the school’s caring ethos. Likewise, staff work hard to ensure “there is always an adult on hand whom they [pupils] feel they can talk to and who will listen to them” Ofsted (2025). Emphasis upon personal development and well-being for staff and pupils. This is a full-time, term-time, post. You will be working 32.5 hours per week, these hours will need to be worked flexibly depending on the school’s need and could change at short notice; hours exclude a 30-minute lunch break each day (Part Time would be considered). The successful candidate will be a reliable, enthusiastic and flexible team-player who can communicate well with staff and pupils alike. The duties and responsibilities attached to this post are as follows: Undertake and review targeted interventions across all areas of need. Supporting lessons as a Learning Support Assistant, working with various pupils across all areas of need. Carry out personal care duties.
