Programme Support Worker – SEND Location: Bradford Hours: 35 hours per week | Term Time Only (39 weeks) Salary: £30,000 FTE (£23,262 actual) Contract: Permanent Reed Further Education is seeking a compassionate and organised Programme Support Worker to support learners with SEND and help deliver a positive, inclusive learning experience. Working closely with teaching staff, you will provide learning, pastoral and administrative support, helping students achieve their individual goals and prepare for adulthood. Key Responsibilities • Provide classroom and small-group support to learners with SEND. • Promote independence, engagement and confidence in learning. • Support student wellbeing, pastoral needs and safeguarding. • Assist with EHCP outcomes, learner progress monitoring and record keeping. • Support daily campus operations, events and learner activities. • Work collaboratively with teachers and programme staff to ensure positive learner outcomes. About You • Experience supporting young people or adults with SEND. • Experience in education, youth work or a similar support role. • Strong communication and organisational skills. • Patient, resilient and passionate about supporting learners to succeed. • Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office. All candidates who register with Reed Further Education will have 2 years’ referencing taken up and will be required to have a DBS check completed. All offers are conditional upon satisfactory background checks.
