Job description

About this Role The Sanctuary Teaching & Learning Support Practitioner Full Time (37 hours Mon Fri) Term Time plus five training days, plus 5 additional days N5 SCP 13- 17 £29,064- £31,022 p.a. pro rata (£24,956- £26,637). We are looking for a friendly, approachable and calm individual to join our team as teaching & learning support practitioner. Previous experience of working in an SEMH environment and managing pupil behaviour would be an advantage. The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate that they can build and maintain successful working relationship with learners and treat them consistently and with respect and consideration. Ideally you will have or be working towards NVQ level 2 or 3 for Teaching Assistants or have an equivalent qualification or experience. A minimum of Level 2 Basic Skills in Literacy and Numeracy is required for this role. Closing date noon 31st August 2026.
