Job description

Responsibilities: Oversee pupil conduct, ensuring safe and orderly behaviour inside and outside the school building. Promote and enforce school rules regarding allowed games and health and safety procedures. Assist pupils in the dining area or other play areas as needed. Ensure all children have access to a variety of games and activities, demonstrating new ones when appropriate. Handle minor incidents and disputes, referring serious incidents to the Senior Lunchtime Coordinator/SLT or nominated supervisor. Administer first aid as required, following health and safety guidelines, and undertake relevant training such as basic first aid. Clean up spillages or debris around dining and play areas to maintain good order, discipline, and safety. Support diversity and ensure equal opportunities for all. Comply with policies and procedures related to child protection, health, safety, security, and confidentiality, reporting all concerns to the appropriate person. Contribute to the overall ethos, work, and aims of the school. Appreciate and support the roles of other professionals. Attend and participate in relevant meetings as required. Participate in training, other learning activities, and performance development as needed. Undertake any other duties commensurate with the level of the post to ensure the efficient and effective running of the department/section.
