Midday Supervisor

We are looking to recruit a Lunchtime Organiser to join our School. This post will play a key role in supporting children during the lunchtime period. You will work under the direction of the Senior Lunchtime Organiser and the Operations Manager. We require a resourceful, enthusiastic and self-motivated person to join our team. The candidate should have experience of working in a school environment or with young people. The following information will enable you to make a positive choice about applying to this position at our school. Please read the information carefully. The successful candidate will work under the guidance of teaching, and senior staff to implement and enhance the high quality provision. Key Responsibilities Supervising students in dining halls, playgrounds, and designated areas Encouraging positive behaviour in line with the school s behaviour policy Supporting students with queries or minor issues Promoting a safe and inclusive environment Reporting incidents or concerns to senior staff Assisting with the organisation of queues and movement around the site The Ideal Candidate Will: Be calm, patient, and approachable Have good communication and interpersonal skills Be able to manage groups of young people confidently Work effectively as part of a team Demonstrate reliability and punctuality Have a commitment to safeguarding and promoting student welfare Previous experience working with children or young people is desirable. Safeguarding training will be provided. Important Information Must be willing to attend a 2 day Paediatric Course either prior to or on commencing employment
