Key Responsibilities: • Plan and deliver inspiring Music lessons across KS3 and KS4. • Encourage students to explore performance, composition, and music theory. • Support and lead extra-curricular activities such as choirs, bands, or music clubs. • Prepare students for concerts, exams, and enrichment opportunities. • Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment. • Collaborate with colleagues to integrate music into the wider school culture. • Track progress and provide effective feedback to students. Qualifications and Experience: • QTS and a degree in Music or a related subject (essential). • Open to Early Career Teachers and experienced teachers. • Strong musical ability in one or more instruments or vocal performance. • Confident in using music technology and composition tools. • Excellent classroom management and organisational skills. • A commitment to safeguarding and inclusive education. • Passion for creative arts and student expression.
