The successful candidate will be passionate about music education, committed to inspiring pupils of all abilities, and capable of delivering engaging lessons that foster creativity, performance skills, and a love of music. Key Responsibilities · Plan and deliver high-quality Music lessons across the relevant key stages. · Inspire students to develop their practical, theoretical, and performance skills. · Assess, monitor, and report on student progress. · Support and lead extracurricular music activities, including choirs, ensembles, and performances. · Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages participation and achievement. · Collaborate with colleagues and contribute to the wider life of the school. Essential Requirements · Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), PGCE, or equivalent teaching qualification. · Experience teaching Music within a school setting. · Strong subject knowledge and a passion for music education. · Excellent classroom management and communication skills. · Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children. · Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one.
