Job Description Nursery Teacher Up to £36,000 per annum | 40 Hours Per Week | Full-Time If you're passionate about creating exciting learning experiences, encouraging curiosity, and helping children develop the confidence they need for school and beyond, this could be the opportunity you've been waiting for. Our client is looking for a dedicated Nursery Teacher to join their Good Ofsted-rated nursery. This is a setting where learning extends far beyond the classroom. Alongside bright, well-equipped learning spaces, the nursery boasts an exceptional outdoor environment that has been thoughtfully designed for young children. Outdoor learning is woven into everyday practice, allowing children to explore, investigate, create, and discover while developing across all areas of the EYFS curriculum. What We're Looking For • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), Early Years Teacher Status (EYTS) , or a recognised Early Years teaching qualification • Previous experience teaching within an early years or nursery setting • Strong knowledge of the EYFS framework and child development • Excellent understanding of safeguarding and child protection procedures • Outstanding communication and organisational skills • A creative, enthusiastic, and child-centred approach to teaching Why Should You Consider This Role • Up to £36,000 per annum • 40 hours per week • Opportunity to work in a Good Ofsted-rated nursery • Exceptional indoor and outdoor learning environments • Ongoing training and professional development • Supportive leadership team • Excellent career progression opportunities Key Responsibilities • Plan and deliver engaging, play-based learning experiences in line with the EYFS framework • Inspire children through creative indoor and outdoor learning opportunities • Support children's learning, development, and school readiness • Observe, assess, and monitor children's progress, adapting learning to meet individual needs • Create a safe, stimulating, and inclusive learning environment • Build strong partnerships with families and the wider nursery team • Promote high standards of teaching, safeguarding, and early years practice • Contribute to the continuous development of the nursery's curriculum and learning environment All appointments are subject to safer recruitment requirements, including an enhanced DBS check, satisfactory references, and verification of the right to work in the UK, in line with safeguarding responsibilities.
