PE Technician

Key Responsibilities Provide efficient and comprehensive technical support to the Physical Education and Sport Department. Assist the Head of PE in the delivery of high-quality PE and sporting activities. Prepare, maintain, and organise sports equipment, facilities, and resources for lessons and events. Ensure equipment is safe, fit for purpose, and stored appropriately. Support the smooth running of PE lessons, extracurricular activities, fixtures, and sporting events. Assist with setting up and dismantling equipment for lessons, competitions, and school events. Monitor stock levels and support the ordering and management of PE resources and equipment. Maintain accurate records relating to equipment, maintenance, and departmental resources. Promote a safe, inclusive, and positive learning environment for all students. Work collaboratively with teaching staff to support learner participation, engagement, and success. Contribute to the department's commitment to providing opportunities that enable all learners to thrive. Undertake other duties as required to support the effective operation of the PE Department.
