Key Responsibilities: * Plan, prepare and deliver engaging Performing Arts lessons in line with the national curriculum. * Teach students across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4. * Create a positive, inclusive and well-managed classroom environment. * Assess, monitor and record student progress, providing constructive feedback to support achievement. * Differentiate lessons to meet the needs of students with varying abilities. * Encourage creativity, teamwork and confidence through practical and theoretical learning. * Prepare students for performances, school productions and other enrichment activities where appropriate. * Work collaboratively with colleagues, senior leaders and support staff to maintain high standards across the department. * Attend departmental meetings, parents' evenings and other school events as required. * Uphold the school's safeguarding, behaviour and health and safety policies at all times. Requirements: * Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential. * A recognised teaching qualification in Drama, Dance or Music. * Previous experience teaching Performing Arts within a UK secondary school. * Excellent classroom and behaviour management skills. * Strong communication and organisational skills. * A genuine passion for inspiring young people through the performing arts. * The ability to build positive relationships with students, colleagues and parents. * A flexible, professional and reliable approach to teaching.
