This is a full-time role within a high-achieving post-16 setting that places strong emphasis on academic excellence and progression to higher education. Physics is a popular subject within the college, with students studying advanced scientific concepts in preparation for university courses and STEM-related careers. About the Role You will teach Physics at Key Stage 5, delivering lessons that cover key areas including mechanics, electricity, waves, particles, and quantum physics. Students will develop analytical thinking, mathematical application, and experimental skills through both theoretical teaching and practical laboratory work. You will prepare students for A-Level Physics examinations, supporting them in developing problem-solving ability, scientific reasoning, and exam technique. You will work collaboratively within the Science department to maintain high standards of teaching and assessment.
