About the role
A highly academic and ambitious secondary school in Winchester is seeking a talented Physics Teacher to join its successful Science faculty from April.
This is an outstanding opportunity for a subject specialist who is passionate about delivering rigorous, concept-driven lessons and inspiring high-achieving students to pursue further study in the sciences.
The Role
The successful candidate will teach Physics across KS3 & KS4, with strong and established KS5 provision. You will deliver challenging and engaging lessons that promote deep understanding, analytical thinking, and strong examination performance.
Key responsibilities include:
• Planning and delivering academically rigorous lessons aligned with an ambitious curriculum
• Preparing students for GCSE and A-Level examinations
• Using assessment data effectively to monitor progress and raise attainment
• Contributing to curriculum development and departmental improvement
• Supporting enrichment opportunities such as STEM clubs, competitions, and university preparation
You will join a collaborative and academically focused Science department committed to excellence.
