About the Role We are looking for someone who can provide a high quality customer centred service with an efficient, positive and helpful approach. This busy key ‘front of house’ role will support the School with a number of reception and administrative functions. The post will require you to be able to multi task as well as being efficient with well-developed personal skills. To provide a professional, pleasant and welcoming reception to all School visitors. Managing/answering calls promptly and effectively and transferring them appropriately. Recording messages fully and accurately, ensuring that they are delivered promptly. Ability to deal with sensitive issues whilst maintaining confidentiality. Managing the signing in / out systems to ensure compliance with Safeguarding and Health and Safety policies. Key Responsibilities: Acting as the first point of contact for visitors, staff, and students. Ensure compliance with school security and safeguarding arrangements. Answering incoming phone calls and handling enquiries. Managing the school's inbox, responding to emails and distributing as appropriate. Communication with staff and parents via School Comms & SIMs database. Managing deliveries and incoming/ outgoing post. Essential Skills and Experience: Previous experience in a reception or administrative role, ideally within a school environment. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with a diverse range of people. Strong organizational and time management skills. Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software. Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information. A calm, approachable, and professional demeanour.
