Job description

Are you an organised, proactive and detail-oriented administrator with a passion for supporting young people to achieve their potential? We are seeking a dedicated SEN Administrator to join our team and play a vital role in supporting the effective delivery of our Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) provision. As SEN Administrator, you will be responsible for coordinating and managing a wide range of SEND administration processes, including statutory requirements, Annual Reviews, student records, Learning Support Assistant (LSA) deployment timetabling and liaison with parents and external agencies. This is a varied and rewarding role requiring excellent organisational skills, strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities. Key responsibilities include: Providing high-quality administrative and secretarial support to the SENDCo and SEN team. Coordinating Annual Reviews and maintaining statutory SEND documentation. Preparing and distributing correspondence, reports and meeting documentation. Managing communication with parents, carers and external professionals. Maintaining accurate student records, EHCP documentation and SEND support plans. Updating and managing the SEN Register using Bromcom. Coordinating external agency appointments and tracking associated actions. Supporting transition arrangements for students moving from Year 6 into Year 7. Producing reports and collating data using Bromcom. Maintaining secure student records in accordance with GDPR requirements. Coordinating Learning Support Assistant deployment timetables. Monitoring departmental resources, stock and stationery.
