School Administrator – Secondary School – Watford Location: Watford area Salary: £90–£120 per day (dependent on experience) Contract Type: Full-Time Start Date: ASAP About the Role: Supply Desk are currently seeking a professional and organised School Administrator to join a welcoming and supportive secondary school in the Watford area. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced administrator to play a key role in the day-to-day running of a busy school office, providing efficient administrative support to staff, students, and parents. The successful candidate will be highly organised, able to work in a fast-paced environment, and committed to delivering excellent administrative support while maintaining confidentiality and professionalism at all times. Key Responsibilities: • Provide administrative support to the senior leadership team, teaching staff and wider school community. • Manage incoming calls, emails and visitors in a professional and friendly manner. • Maintain accurate student records and update school databases. • Assist with attendance, admissions and general school office administration. • Prepare correspondence, reports and other documentation as required. • Support the smooth day-to-day running of the school office and reception. • Ensure all administrative tasks are completed efficiently and in line with school policies. The Ideal Candidate Will Have: • Previous school or administrative experience is essential. • Strong organisational and time management skills. • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office and school management systems (such as SIMS or Arbor) is desirable. • The ability to work independently and as part of a team in a busy office environment. • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
