£39,260 - £43,132 FTE - SAT G £20,626 - £22,660 Pro Rata 22.5 hours per week Term Time + 5 staff development days October 2026 start Interviews: w/c 7th September 2026 Peacehaven Community School is seeking to recruit a qualified and experienced School Counsellor to join our SEND team. We are particularly interested in employing a candidate who will have positive communication & listening skills, with a patient, tolerant and sensitive nature. The candidate will be: - Able to provide an independent and confidential counselling service to students responding to their personal, social, emotional or education concerns. - Provide one to one counselling sessions to students. - Implement a robust referral and case management system to ensure all students can access appropriate counselling support within a timely manner. Please note that interviews may be held prior to the application closing date. At this stage agencies need not apply.
