    Science Teacher Location: Market Harborough Start Date: January 2025 Contract Type: Long Term Salary Scale: £162.31-£251.72 per day (Depending on experience) GSL Education are seeking an inspiring and dynamic Science Teacher to join a vibrant secondary school in Market Harborough . This role offers a fantastic opportunity to deliver high-quality lessons to students, fostering a love for Science across Key Stages 3 and 4. This role is ideal for individuals who are passionate about making a positive impact on young learners. The successful Science Teacher will create an engaging learning environment, tailoring lessons to meet individual needs while maintaining high expectations for behaviour and achievement. Responsibilities of a Science Teacher : • Plan and deliver engaging Science lessons in line with the national curriculum. • Foster a positive classroom atmosphere conducive to effective learning. • Assess, monitor, and provide constructive feedback to students to support their progress. • Work collaboratively with the department and school staff to enhance teaching strategies. • Ensure all safeguarding and child protection policies are strictly adhered to. Required Qualifications for a Science Teacher : • A recognised teaching qualification in UK (PGCE, QTS, or equivalent). • Specialism in Science with experience teaching Key Stages 3 and 4. • Strong classroom management and communication skills. • Proven ability to inspire and motivate students. • A valid Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to apply for a new check.
