Whether covering planned absences or supporting the school during busy periods, you will play a key role in maintaining high standards of teaching and learning. Qualified Secondary Teacher - Key Responsibilities: • Plan and deliver engaging, high-quality lessons where required. • Teach across a variety of secondary subjects and year groups, adapting to the needs of the school. • Create a positive, inclusive, and safe learning environment for all students. • Manage classroom behaviour effectively in line with school policies. • Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback where appropriate. • Work collaboratively with colleagues and contribute positively to the wider school community. Qualified Secondary Teacher - Requirements: • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS). • Previous experience teaching in UK secondary schools. • Flexibility and confidence teaching different subjects when needed. • Strong classroom management and communication skills. • A positive, professional, and adaptable approach to teaching. • An enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one.
