Key Responsibilities
• Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons tailored to meet the individual needs of SEN pupils.
• Support students with a range of additional needs, including ASD, ADHD, SEMH, and learning difficulties.
• Create a positive, structured, and inclusive classroom environment.
• Work collaboratively with teaching assistants, SENCOs, and wider school staff.
• Monitor and assess pupil progress, adapting teaching strategies where necessary.
• Build positive relationships with parents, carers, and external agencies to support student development.
The Ideal Candidate
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
• Previous experience working with pupils with special educational needs.
• Strong understanding of SEN strategies and effective behaviour management.
• Patient, adaptable, and committed to helping every child succeed.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• A genuine passion for supporting and inspiring young people.
