The Role As a SEN Teacher, you will be responsible for planning and delivering tailored lessons that meet the individual needs of pupils with complex learning difficulties. You will work closely with support staff and therapists to ensure every pupil receives a holistic and consistent approach to their education. You will create a positive and structured classroom environment where pupils feel safe, supported, and able to engage in learning at their own pace. Teachers who can evidence expertise in behaviour management, EHCP delivery, curriculum adaptation, and supporting pupils with complex and high needs are more likely to be considered for the higher rate.
