Weeting Church of England Primary School Part of the Diocese of Ely Multi-Academy Trust (DEMAT) is seeking to appoint a Part-Time SEN Level 2 Teaching Assistant Point 5 (FTE £25,583 per year, approx. £15,899 Pro-rata) Working 27.5 hours, 38 weeks per year 8.40 am - 2.30 pm, Monday - Friday Commencing: September 2026 Weeting Church of England Primary School has an exciting opportunity for a committed SEN Level 2 Teaching Assistant to join a vibrant team of enthusiastic, hardworking individuals. About You To be successful in this role, you will ideally: Have experience of working with SEND children and/or as a Teaching Assistant Be committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people Be enthusiastic, ambitious and serious about improving children’s life chances through education Be highly organised, conscientious and able to set clear priorities when managing a busy workload Be able work cooperatively and communicate clearly with fellow colleagues, parents and pupils Have a ‘can-do’ attitude and has the ability to use their initiative Be able to work flexibly and professionally About Role We are looking for an experienced Level 2 Teaching Assistant to join our team, working 27.5 hours per week, 38 weeks per year with the working hours required being 8.40am - 2.30pm, Monday - Friday (including 20 minute unpaid break).
