SEN Teaching Assistant Full-Time | September Start | 8:45am - 3:25pm Our education recruitment agency is currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant to work in a specialist secondary school from September. This is a full-time opportunity for someone who is passionate about supporting young people with complex special educational needs and is looking to make a meaningful difference every day. The Role As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will: • Support students on a one-to-one and small group basis. • Assist pupils with a range of complex learning, communication, physical, and sensory needs. • Work closely with teachers and other professionals to deliver personalised support. • Encourage students' independence, confidence, and engagement in learning. • Help maintain a safe, positive, and inclusive learning environment. The Ideal Candidate • Experience working with children or young people with complex special educational needs is desirable. • A patient, caring, and resilient approach. • Strong communication and teamwork skills. • A genuine passion for supporting children with additional needs. • A willingness to undertake personal care is essential.
