SEND Support Assistant

We are seeking to appoint a caring, enthusiastic and dedicated Learning Support Assistant to join our talented KS1 SEND team. The successful candidate will work as part of our inclusion team within our internal SEND provision spaces and alongside class teachers and other professionals to support pupils' learning and development. We are looking for someone who: Is passionate about helping children learn, grow and succeed. Has a nurturing and positive approach to supporting children. Can build strong, supportive relationships with pupils, staff and families. Is committed to inclusion and enabling all children to access learning. Works well as part of a collaborative and dedicated team. Demonstrates initiative, flexibility and a willingness to learn. Ideally candidates will have NVQ Level 3 in supporting Teaching and Learning or the equivalent, while a good level of numeracy and literacy is essential (GCSE Grade C /4 and above or equivalent). Previous experience of working with children, particularly those with additional needs, would be advantageous. Enthusiasm, commitment and the ability to form positive relationships are equally important.
