Permanent Term Time Only plus 1 additional day 30 hours per week, Monday to Friday 8.50am - 3.20pm Salary NJC Grade A1/B1, Scale Points 3-6, £25,614 to £26,846 per annum Actual Salary £17,505 to £18,347 per annum Required from September 2026 The Governors are looking for an enthusiastic and friendly SEND Teaching Assistant to join our Catholic primary school at St Marys Catholic Primary School, Horsforth. We are looking for an individual to provide support to children with additional needs as well as general classroom support. Experience is desirable but not essential. We are looking for a Teaching Assistant, who has numeracy and literacy skills grade 4 or above (or equivalent level) and who is: Caring, patient and intuitive to the needs of the child to enable them to access the curriculum as designated by the teacher Able to communicate effectively with pupils and staff Flexible in approach and able to adapt to working with both groups and individual pupils Willing to help with activities both in the classroom and across the school Professional, responsible and aware of the need to maintain confidentiality Supportive of the Catholic ethos of the school 1.
