A collaborative secondary school in Lincoln is seeking a History ECT to begin in January 2026. You will teach History across KS3 and KS4, support student research and historical enquiry, and contribute to local history projects. • Full‑time ECT role from January 2026 • Located in Lincoln, Lincolnshire • Teach History KS3 and KS4, involvement in local or regional historical initiatives This is a valuable opportunity for a new teacher who enjoys depth, debate, and helping students understand the past. The History department has active links with regional museums and runs trips and competitions. Experience and Qualifications • QTS at ECT level, specialism in History or related subject • Good knowledge of British & world history, enquiry‑based and interpretative approaches • Strong classroom presence and ability to engage students through stories and sources • Legal right to work in UK School Information The school supports ECTs via induction programmes, collaborative planning, and opportunities to lead small departmental initiatives.
