Tuckswood Academy Tuckswood Centre Norwich NR4 6BP www.tuckswoodacademy.co.uk Email:recruitment@bhetrust.co.uk Vacancy: Teaching Assistant 32.5 hours per week, term time plus one week D Grade: £25,583 to £25,989 FTE £19,242 to £19,548 actual gross annual salary Permanent We are seeking a caring and understanding Teaching Assistant to join our hard-working and committed staff team. The role will involve promoting our core values of Be Kind, Be Curious, Be Ready, Be Resilient and Be Proud. The main duties include working with and supporting the children across the primary phase, leading interventions and supporting during break and lunch times. Tuckswood Academy believes that all children have a right to a good education and it is our responsibility to ensure that the curriculum at this school is made accessible to all. Our children are tolerant, kind and caring of each other and work hard when they are at school. Our staff are very friendly and welcoming and go above and beyond to support the needs of our children. As part of the Broad Horizons Education Trust you will be included in a family of academies who put the needs of children at the forefront of their education. Personal qualities are of paramount importance and the person appointed will be expected to display enthusiasm, energy, good humour, flexibility and reliability. You should also have the ability to work independently as well as part of a busy team. Part of the role requirements is to act up as a Cover Supervisor when required to cover absence.
