Vacancy for Level 2 Teaching Assistant (Fixed-Term Contract until Aug 2027) Salary: Meridian Trust Grade 5, Points 5-7 £19,299.61 (Actual Annual Salary) Hours: 32.5 a week 8.30am - 3.30pm (Monday-Friday) 39 Weeks a year (Term Time + 5 Days) We have an exciting vacancy for a passionate and creative Teaching Assistant who thrives on helping students realise their potential at Woodston Primary School. The Opportunity Take responsibility for adapting and delivering learning activities with children, as agreed. Motivate and engage the students, to reach their full potential. Encourage and promote the inclusion and acceptance of all students. Join a dedicated, enthusiastic team, within a supportive MAT. The ideal candidate Holds a good educational background with GCSE or equivalent in English Language. Understands how children learn. Is skilled at developing children’s self-esteem and motivation so that they become resilient, independent learners. Has excellent communication skills and is able to develop and sustain positive relationships with pupils.
