SEN Teaching Assistant Full-Time | September Start | 8:45am - 3:25pm We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant to join a specialist secondary school this September. This is a rewarding opportunity to support young people with a range of complex special educational needs , helping them to access learning, develop independence, and achieve their full potential within a nurturing and supportive environment. The Role • Provide one-to-one and small group support for students with complex additional needs. • Work closely with teachers and the wider multidisciplinary team to deliver personalised learning and care. • Support students with communication, social, emotional, and physical needs throughout the school day. • Promote a positive, inclusive, and safe learning environment. • Assist with implementing individual education and behaviour support plans. The Ideal Candidate • Experience working with children or young people with complex special educational needs is desirable. • A caring, patient, and resilient approach. • Excellent communication and teamwork skills. • A genuine passion for supporting children with additional needs. • A willingness to undertake personal care is essential.
