Job description

Lawley Primary Academy are seeking to appoint an excellent Wrapround Assistants to help us in running a professional and caring before and after school club service for our children. We are looking enthusiastic and creative individuals to join our thriving extended school’s provision. In particular we are looking for individuals who can enhance our provision and who are committed to making the start and end of school day experience engaging, enjoyable and meaningful for children. Under the guidance of the Extended Services Lead/Early Years Lead you will be working closely with the children, ensuring their safety at all times, engaging with them in aspects of play and conversation, setting up activities for children to take part in, meet and greet parents and provide them with feedback on their child’s time at the club. We have varied shifts available: Monday - Friday 7.30am - 8.30am Monday - Friday 3.15pm - 5pm In particular, successful candidates should have Experience of working with young children Basic understanding of child development and learning Enthusiasm and dedication to caring and supporting pupil activities You should be: A responsible and reliable person Confident in dealing with young people, maintaining discipline and motivation Able to relate well to pupils and adults Why Work with REAch2 Academy Trust?
