What you'll be doing: • Planning and delivering engaging, well-structured lessons in line with the National Curriculum • Helping pupils build the confidence and skills they'll need as they move towards Year 6 • Creating a positive, inclusive classroom where every child feels supported, challenged, and valued • Encouraging independence, resilience, and a genuine love of learning across the curriculum • Adapting teaching to meet the needs of all learners, including pupils with SEND and EAL • Monitoring progress through ongoing assessment and using this to shape future learning • Working closely with Teaching Assistants, colleagues, and parents to support every child's development • Managing behaviour with consistency, encouragement, and clear expectations • Contributing to the wider school community and maintaining the highest standards of safeguarding What we're looking for: The right fit for this role will be someone who: • Holds UK QTS • Has recent experience teaching in a UK primary school, ideally within Key Stage 2 • Has a strong understanding of the Year 5 curriculum and the key skills pupils need before moving into Year 6 • Creates engaging lessons that challenge, motivate, and inspire every learner • Builds positive relationships with pupils, families, and colleagues • Brings enthusiasm, organisation, and a supportive approach to the classroom Why work with Protocol Education?
