We are seeking a passionate and knowledgeable Geography Teacher to join our team on a part-time basis starting in September. This role is ideal for someone who is enthusiastic about teaching geography and can inspire young minds with the wonders of our world. Day-to-day of the role: • Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging geography lessons to students across various key stages. • Utilise a variety of teaching methods to cater to different learning styles and abilities. • Assess and record students' progress and provide grades and feedback to foster their academic growth. • Maintain a positive, stimulating classroom environment that promotes student engagement. • Collaborate with other teaching staff to enhance the curriculum and share best teaching practices. • Participate in school meetings and events. Required Skills & Qualifications: • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent. • Degree in Geography or a related field. • Proven experience in teaching Geography at secondary school level. • Strong organisational and communication skills. • Ability to create and maintain a positive learning environment. • Commitment to professional development and staying current with the latest educational research.
