Assessment will be central to your practice. You will use both formative and summative assessment strategies to monitor progress, identify next steps, and adapt planning accordingly. Differentiation will be key to ensuring that all learners, including pupils with SEND, EAL, and those requiring additional intervention, are fully supported and appropriately challenged. You will work collaboratively with colleagues across Lower Key Stage 2, as well as with teaching assistants, SEN staff, and senior leaders. Strong communication with parents and carers will be encouraged and supported, helping to build positive partnerships that benefit pupil progress and wellbeing. This role is suitable for Early Career Teachers and experienced teachers. ECTs will benefit from a structured induction programme and ongoing mentoring, while experienced practitioners will have opportunities to contribute to curriculum development and whole-school improvement.
