About the role

The Role
You will teach Art across KS3 and KS4, with opportunities to contribute to KS5 depending on experience and departmental need. The role focuses on delivering engaging and skill-based lessons that encourage experimentation, confidence, and independent thinking.
Key responsibilities include:
• Planning and delivering high-quality Art lessons aligned with the curriculum
• Teaching a range of techniques including drawing, painting, mixed media, and design processes
• Assessing and moderating coursework in line with examination requirements

• Maintaining high standards of behaviour, presentation, and studio safety
• Contributing to displays, exhibitions, and enrichment activities
