Position: Biology Teacher Location: York Contract: Full-Time Start Date: September Key Stages: KS3–KS5 Biology Teaching Role in an Independent School Setting An independent school in York is seeking to appoint a Biology Teacher to join its Science department from September. About the Role You will teach Biology across Key Stage 3, Key Stage 4, and Key Stage 5, delivering lessons that develop students’ understanding of key biological concepts such as cell biology, genetics, ecology, and human biology. The role includes both theoretical teaching and practical laboratory work, allowing students to develop investigative skills and scientific understanding. You will prepare students for GCSE and A-Level Biology examinations, supporting them in developing analytical skills, extended writing, and exam technique. You will work collaboratively with colleagues to maintain high standards of teaching and assessment.
