Position: Biology Teacher Location: Worcester Contract: Full-Time Start Date: September Key Stages: KS3–KS5 Biology Teaching Role in a Grammar School A grammar school in Worcester is seeking to appoint a Biology Teacher to join its Science department from September. This is a full-time role within an academically ambitious environment that values scientific excellence, curiosity, and high achievement. Biology is a highly successful subject within the school, with strong uptake at GCSE and A-Level. Students are encouraged to develop analytical thinking, investigative skills, and a deep understanding of biological systems. About the Role You will teach Biology across Key Stage 3, Key Stage 4, and Key Stage 5, delivering engaging lessons that develop students’ scientific understanding and practical skills. The role includes both theoretical and practical laboratory teaching, helping students build confidence in experimentation, data analysis, and scientific reasoning. You will prepare students for GCSE and A-Level Biology examinations, supporting students in developing strong subject knowledge, scientific writing, and exam technique. You will work collaboratively within a successful Science department to maintain high standards of teaching and learning.
