Job description

Working pattern: Mon - Thurs - 10.30am - 2.45pm and Fri 9.30am - 2.45pm We are seeking a reliable, enthusiastic and customer-focused Catering Assistant to join our catering team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a busy environment and takes pride in delivering high-quality food and service to our students, colleagues and visitors. As a Catering Assistant, you will support the preparation, cooking and service of food while helping to maintain a safe, clean and welcoming dining environment. The role also includes supporting catering provision for Trust events and functions, with flexibility required to work occasional evenings and weekends. To be a good fit for this role, you will have; A positive and enthusiastic approach to work Good communication and customer service skills Ability to work effectively as part of a team A commitment to maintaining high standards of food hygiene and cleanliness Experience in a catering or hospitality environment (desirable but not essential, as training will be provided) Flexibility to support catering events outside normal working hours when required About our School At Rossett School our journey begins with shared values that create a warm, welcoming community where everyone feels truly accepted and valued.
