Cover Supervisor

COVER SUPERVISOR - FULL TIME, UNTIL JULY 2027 STARTS SEPTEMBER 2026 Prospero Teaching are recruiting Cover Supervisors to work across a range of mainstream secondary schools in North Manchester. From September 2026, Prospero will be the first point of call for a number of schools in the area for day-to-day supply. A Guaranteed Pay Scheme is available for exceptional/experienced candidates.You don't need to have a particular subject specialism, but a willingness to step in to all lessons and a positive attitude is essential. The position is open to both graduates, ECTs and experienced cover supervisors and will provide excellent experience for those considering a career in education. CONTRACT/POSITION DETAILS Location: North Manchester Position: Cover Supervisor Type of work: Covering classes in absence of a Class Teacher Start date: September 2026 Duration / Likely Duration: Full-academic year End date (if applicable): N/A Contract type: Temporary Full time/part time: Full-time Minimum rate of pay £120/day Hours 8:15 am 3.30pm EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS Recent Graduate, with a 2:2 or higher Previous experience working in a UK school, or working with young people, is desirable but not essential. Up to date Safeguarding training issued in the last year, or willingness to undertake Prospero's training.
