This Teacher of Music position in Blackburn, Lancashire is a full-time, long-term temporary role running until December 2026 , with the potential to become a permanent appointment from January 2027 . As a Teacher of Music in Blackburn, Lancashire , you will deliver engaging and creative lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, encouraging students to develop their musical knowledge, skills and confidence. Requirements • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent recognised teaching qualification. • Experience teaching Music at secondary level. • Strong classroom management and communication skills. • A passion for delivering engaging and inclusive Music lessons. • Ability to plan, prepare and assess lessons effectively. • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people. • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one.
