An exciting opportunity has become available for a passionate Music Teacher to join a highly-respected Secondary school in the Hillingdon Borough to contribute to the school’s vibrant musical community.
As a teacher of Music, you will have the opportunity to shape and deliver a diverse music programme, and a comprehensive curriculum designed to support students of all abilities. This role offers the chance to foster a deep love of music and build a strong sense of community through practical musicianship, particularly in ensemble settings.
Key Responsibilities:
• Planning and delivering engaging, well-structured lessons aligned with the national curriculum.
• Assessing, tracking, and recording pupil progress to inform teaching and support individual learning needs.
• Creating a stimulating classroom environment that encourages curiosity and independent thinking.
• Contributing to curriculum development and departmental initiatives within Music.
• Working collaboratively with colleagues and parents to promote positive attitudes to learning and achievement.
Ideally QTS or QTLS but would consider those without as long as you have relevant Secondary teaching experience.

The Academy is an oversubscribed all through School in Hillingdon. It currently has a 7 form of entry in the Secondary Phase with a Sixth Form.
