About the role
Music Teacher - SEMH School Orpington
£130-£150 per day
September Start - Part Time - 3 days a week
Are you an experienced Music Teacher looking for your next challenging and rewarding role this September?
We're working with a specialist SEMH school (Primary through Secondary) in Orpington that is urgently looking for a confident, engaging Music Teacher on a part time basis (3 days a week)
If you have experience working with students with SEMH or SEND and want to make a genuine impact, this is a fantastic opportunity where no two days are the same.
The role does not require Qualified Teacher Status.
What you'll be doing as a Music Teacher:
• Teaching music to pupils 1:1 and in small groups
• Supporting students to develop new skills in music
• Managing and de-escalating challenging behaviour
• Working closely with teaching and pastoral teams
What we need from you:
• Experience teaching music in a school setting
• Experience with SEMH, PRU, youth work, or similar
• Strong behaviour management skills
• A calm, resilient, and proactive approach
• Available from September
