Science Teacher Location: Market Harborough Start Date: January 2025 Contract Type: Long Term Salary Scale: £162.31-£251.72 per day (Depending on experience) GSL Education are seeking an inspiring and dynamic Science Teacher to join a vibrant secondary school in Market Harborough . Responsibilities of a Science Teacher : • Plan and deliver engaging Science lessons in line with the national curriculum. • Foster a positive classroom atmosphere conducive to effective learning. • Assess, monitor, and provide constructive feedback to students to support their progress. • Work collaboratively with the department and school staff to enhance teaching strategies. • Ensure all safeguarding and child protection policies are strictly adhered to. Required Qualifications for a Science Teacher : • A recognised teaching qualification in UK (PGCE, QTS, or equivalent). • Specialism in Science with experience teaching Key Stages 3 and 4. • Strong classroom management and communication skills. • Proven ability to inspire and motivate students. • A valid Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to apply for a new check.
