Pastoral Support Assistant

Are you passionate about supporting children with Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs? We're working with welcoming specialist schools in South Shields looking to recruit Behaviour & Pastoral Support Assistants for long-term positions. Your day-to-day duties will include: • Supporting pupils who require additional emotional support. • Helping children re-engage with education. • Delivering positive behaviour strategies. • Supporting classroom routines and transitions. • Encouraging pupils to achieve both academically and socially. Experience supporting children with SEMH, Autism or behavioural needs would be highly advantageous. All applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role.
