Responsibilities • Plan and deliver engaging Science lessons that are differentiated to meet individual learning needs. • Inspire pupils to develop confidence, curiosity and a positive attitude towards Science. • Adapt teaching strategies and resources to ensure all learners can access the curriculum. • Support pupils in achieving their individual EHCP outcomes where applicable. • Create a positive, nurturing and inclusive classroom environment. • Monitor, assess and record pupil progress, adapting teaching where required. • Work collaboratively with teaching assistants, SENCOs, therapists and wider multi-disciplinary teams. • Promote positive behaviour through consistent and restorative approaches. • Maintain the highest standards of safeguarding and child protection.
