The Role As an SEN Teacher, you'll work with pupils who have a range of additional needs, including: * Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC) * ADHD * Speech, Language and Communication Needs (SLCN) * Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs * Moderate to Severe Learning Difficulties (MLD/SLD) * Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties (PMLD) You will: * Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons tailored to individual learning needs. * Create a safe, nurturing, and inclusive learning environment. * Work closely with teaching assistants, therapists, SENCOs, and multidisciplinary teams. * Develop personalised learning strategies and monitor pupil progress. * Support pupils' social, emotional, and behavioural development. * Promote independence, confidence, and positive outcomes for every learner. What We're Looking For The ideal candidate will have: * Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent recognised teaching qualification. * Experience working with children or young people with Special Educational Needs, either in specialist or mainstream settings. * Excellent communication and behaviour management skills. * A patient, adaptable, and empathetic approach to teaching. * A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children. * An enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one. * The right to work in the UK.
