About the role

SEN Teaching Assistant (Year 2–4) Pay: £427.20 – £498.40 per week Start Date: ASAP Hours: Full Time, Monday to Friday Location: Alvechurch, Worcestershire Connex Education is recruiting for an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to join a friendly and supportive specialist primary school in Alvechurch. This full-time role involves supporting pupils across Years 2–4 with a range of Special Educational Needs, including Autism, ADHD and communication needs. The school provides a nurturing, structured environment where every child is encouraged to develop academically, socially and emotionally. The Role • Support pupils on a 1:1 basis and in small groups. • Adapt learning activities to meet individual needs. • Promote confidence, independence and positive behaviour. • Work closely with teachers and the wider support team to help pupils achieve their potential. What We're Looking For • Previous SEN experience is essential. • Experience supporting primary-aged children with additional needs. • A caring, patient and resilient approach. • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one). • Full-time availability, Monday to Friday.
