About The Role As a SEND teacher at Danecourt, you’ll lead a small class of pupils with a range of needs including autism, communication difficulties, and sensory processing disorders. Collaborating with Support Staff: Work closely with a skilled team of teaching assistants, therapists, and professionals to provide holistic support for every child. Who You Are We’re seeking an enthusiastic, skilled and compassionate SEND Teacher who is: Experienced and Qualified: You hold QTS and have a strong understanding of the needs of pupils with SEND, ideally with experience in a specialist or mainstream SEN setting. Creative and Flexible: You adapt quickly, bring energy and new ideas to the classroom, and approach each day with a solution-focused mindset. A Strong Communicator: You build positive, professional relationships with pupils, families, and colleagues, and thrive in a collaborative environment. Patient and Passionate: You bring empathy, resilience, and a genuine passion for helping every child grow and succeed in their own way.
