Key responsibilities include: • Coordinating all aspects of external exams (GCSE, A Level, BTEC, vocational) • Managing entries, registrations, exam timetables, and seating plans • Liaising with exam boards, subject leaders, and senior leadership teams • Ensuring full compliance with JCQ regulations and all awarding body policies • Running internal mock exams, baseline assessments, and resit cycles • Recruiting, training, and managing a team of invigilators • Organising secure storage, stationery, papers, and scripts • Collating and distributing results, post-results services, and candidate information • Maintaining accurate student records and data on the school information system • Preparing reports, statistics, and analysis for school leaders This is a pivotal role requiring strong attention to detail, strategic thinking, and the ability to maintain calm and accuracy during high-pressure exam seasons.
