About the role
If you're finishing your teacher training and thought the resignation deadline meant you'd missed your chance to secure a September position, we've got some good news.
A welcoming Catholic primary school in Kingswood is looking for an enthusiastic Early Career Teacher to take on a Year 4 class from September 2026 until July 2027 on a one-year fixed-term contract.

What you'll be doing
You'll take responsibility for a lovely Year 4 class, delivering engaging lessons, building positive relationships with pupils and helping every child develop a love of learning. You'll work alongside experienced colleagues who are on hand to support you as you begin your teaching career.
As this is a full class teacher role, you'll be paid on the Main Pay Scale , with full ECT entitlement and support.

We're looking for someone who:
• Holds, or will achieve before September 2026, UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Is ready to begin their teaching career with enthusiasm and commitment
• Has a nurturing, positive approach to teaching and learning
• Enjoys building strong relationships with children, families and colleagues
• Holds an Enhanced Child Only DBS on the Update Service , or is willing to obtain one
• Can provide 24 months of references as part of the compliance process
